Открытый урок "Путешествие"

Предлагаю разработку открытого урока по теме "Путешествие" в 8 классе. Цель урока: совершенствование лексико - грамматического материала по теме.

Урок английского языка по теме "Путешествие" по Спотлайт 8 класс

Цели: Совершенствование употребления в речи лексико – грамматического материала по теме "Путешествие".

Развитие коммуникативных умений и навыков: говорения, аудирования, чтения и письма.

Развитие навыков и умений высказывать и аргументировать свою точку зрения.

Развитие языковой, речевой и социокультурной компетенции.

Воспитывать у учащихся интерес к познаванию мира.

Оборудование: карточки с лексическим материалом, компьютер, проектор, интерактивная доска, презентация.

Речевая разминка по теме.

Обсуждение темы и целей урока.

The topic of our lesson is " Travelling ". Today we are going to talk about travelling nowadays because we enjoy travelling about our country and visiting different countries and we can’t imagine our life without it.

We’ll try to find out what countries people prefer visiting and why. We will listen to the dialogues and do some tasks to check your listening skills, read and discuss the dialogue, check your grammar skills.

II. Phonetic Drill. Фонетическая зарядка

1. - So, today we shall travel by different transports. Our travelling begins. During the travelling people like to read poems. Let's read a poem.

By train, by ship, by car

We always want to know what's near and what's far

Farewell, farewell everything is going well

In the South, in the West

Pleasant trip and all the best.

2. The quotation. Мотивационный этап. Обсуждение цитат, касающихся содержания стихотворения.

Try to read the quotation and think it over in groups. Express your opinion concerning it:

Have a look at the thoughts of famous people and repeat after me :

To travel hopefully is a better thing than to arrive.”

Travelling is one way of lengthening life”

He who travels far, knows much”

The world is a book: If you don’t travel, you read only one page”

8) Ferdinand Magellan his was the first expedition to sail round the world, 1519-1521.

9) Peary reached the North Pole in 1909
